Geocache Description:

The Historic Henty Railway Station was built in 1904 with the goods shed being a semi-elliptical roof design,one of the few remaining today.The station has been restored to its former glory together with an array of gardens and murals around the station area.




Henty was formerly called " Doodle Cooma " ,which meant sweetwater in the aboriginal language.The village of Henty was gazetted in 1888.From the platform ,a nearby mural of Doodle Cooma can be seen together with many other murals.

Once a year in September, the Henty Machinery Field Days are staged over 3 days making it the largest in NSW with over 50,000 people attending and not to be missed.
The cache is a micro .Please do not reveal any hints within the logs and stealth will be required in this region.
