Geocache Description:

Visit beautiful Barber Park and veer off the beaten Greenbelt trail to find this geocache highlighting three aquatic noxious weeds. This is a traditional Ada County Weed Mgmt cache - a camoed thermos containing informational flyers about the aquatic noxious weed species. Please take a flyer and keep it as a resource!

This cache is carefully hidden past the Barber Park Event Center. As you enter Barber Park stay to the left and follow the signs to the back parking lot. There is a dirt path that starts right off the parking lot and travels along the left side of a wetlands area. The cache is located down that path about a quarter mile. Just after the path comes to a fork, stay to the right. You will find it here, next to the water near three large trees. This cache provides information on three aquatic noxious weed species - Eurasian Milfoil, Hydrilla and Parrotfeather Milfoil. If you come across any of these aquatic weeds while playing in or around Ada County waterways, we ask that you please log the GPS coordinates and submit them to Ada County Weed Control by emailing: weedandpest@adaweb.net. More information can be found on our Web site at (visit link)

Thanks, and happy caching!
