Geocache Description:

William Beach Park and Mullet Creek are known to many kayaking and canoe folk.

For many years this has been a popular spot for members of the Illawarra Canoe Club to train and race. Several Olympians and numerous Australian representatives have spent hours powering up and down this creek in their quest for gold.
(visit link)

Mullet Creek is home to a variety of marine life and sea birds whose activities are strongly influenced by the seasons. Bring your fishing rod and see what you can catch. Mullet love bread as do the ducks. Waddles, the white duck may even come up and say hello.

There is a play ground and BBQ area with lots of room for geokids to run and play. Geodogs are welcome too.

This cache is hidden near the water so watch the geo kiddies. It is at the top of the rock wall, removing the need to venture down too low. During winter the Illawarra Canoe Club has its Winter Series races on Sunday morning so if there are lots of people around some stealth may be required.

There are lots of goodies for the geokids, and a pin for the FTF. Please make sure you return the cache to where you found it. Have fun and enjoy the find.

And FTF goes to Wilbert67 Congratulations!!!
