Das ist unser 1. Cache.
Während unseres Korfu-Urlaubs in 2010 in Acharavi, hat Lena mit ihrem Satellite den Grand-Prix gewonnen und die Welt erobert. Diesen Abend haben wir in netter Gesellschaft verbracht und gefeiert. Im Laufe des Abends haben wir von unserer Geocacherei berichtet und sind zu dem Schluß gekommen, daß unser 1. hier hin gehört, denn hier ist eindeutig bestes Cacherwetter und ein nettes Plätzchen zum entspannen obendrein.
Bei klarer Sicht hat man einen guten Blick auf Albaniens Berge und der lange Strand lädt zu einem ausgiebigen Spaziergang ein. In Richtung West sind es ca. 1,5 km bis Roda. In östliche Richtung
ca. 4,5 km bis zum Cache Cape Agia Ekaterini.
Der englische Belgier Dirk, den wir hier kennengelernt haben, lebt auf Korfu und hat uns versprochen, unseren Ersten wie seinen Augapfel zu hüten. Bestellt ihm und seiner reizenden Gattin Debbie einen schönen Gruß, wenn ihr ihm beim loggen begegnet. Solltet ihr wissen wollen, was Acharavi heißt, dann fragt ihn doch mal. Unser Korfu-Urlaub bleibt uns stets in bester Erinnerung.
Thats our first cache.
During our vacation on Corfu, Acharavi in 2010 Lena won the Grand-Prix with her song satellite and conquered the world. We spend this night in nice company and celebrated the victory.
We mentioned the subject “geo-caching” and decided that our first cache should belong on Corfu because of the suitable, sunny weather and the best location to relax.
The nice sight shows the Albanian mountains and the long beach is great for a long walk.
It’s about 1,5 km in western direction to reach Roda. In eastern direction it takes you about 4,5 km to reach the Cape Agia Ekaterini cache.
The english Belgian Dirk, who we met on Korfu, lives there and promised us to keep an eye on our cache. Please give him and his lovely wife the best regards when you meet them while logging. If you want to know what ‘Acharavi’ means, do not hesitate to ask him.
We will never forget our vacation on Corfu.
