This caches is placed near the Fayette Cemetery. The cemetery is part of Fayette State Park. From the picnic area is it just a short walk to the cemetery.
The Fayette Cementery where the geocache is placed is part of the Fayette Ghost Town. This was the Catholic Cemetery for the town. The cemetery was used from late 1800's to the 1940's. The cemetery has not had a lot of up keep. It is located just a stone throw from Lake Michigan. It is a very peaceful area and well work the walk in.
