Geocache Description:

A magnetic nano located in Olde Towne Portsmouth at the newly constructed Railroad Museum. This was the scene of the original "Night Train" cache, but so much has changed here with the consruction of the platform and sidewalks that I thought it was worthy of a new hide. Enjoy!

This cache follows the theme of great sports nicknames. Here is the scoop on "Night Train:"

Dick “Night Train” Lane was a 1st or 2nd team all-NFL defensive back for the Los Angeles Rams, St Louis Cardinals and the Detroit Lions from 1954 to 1963. He was named to seven Pro Bowls during his Hall of Fame career. The nickname came about when, as a rookie, he spent a great deal of time consulting with veteran teammate Tom Fears who was constantly listeng to the hit record "Night Train" and thus, Dick "Night Train" Lane was tagged.

You will need to BYOP.

***CONGRATS to swposey for the FTF!!

I hope everyone enjoys the new depot built around the old trains.
