Geocache Description:


January14 and I found our first cache on June 30, 2007. Since that time we have had a lot of fun caching and meeting new people. So to remember and thank some of our fellow cachers we have decided to place a few caches in their honor.

This cache is for Betaman.

Betaman was our first Phone-A-Friend. We have called him many times over the past three years.

He also has hidden some very challenging caches and always has a great story to tell about caching. He is one of the nicest people you will ever meet.

Betaman drives a Jeep Renegade and says he can go anywhere. Although he will admit to being stuck in mud a couple of times in the last several months. He always blames it on Smarky. Funny we NEVER have gotten stuck when we cache with Smarky!

A word of caution to Betaman and other cachers: There is a big hole near the cache that can become very muddy if it has rain. If you decide to drive up to the cache you should be able to avoid the mud hole with a little caution. Getting stuck in the middle of it would make the terrain rating a lot higher.

So here is our tribute to Betaman! We hope this makes you think of him when you find this cache.
