Earl ? Mystery Cache

While out exploring, we found an interesting sign and thought it was too good not to share.
To solve this puzzle, here is what you do:
1. Go to the listed coordinates and you will find a sign.
2. You will have to read both sides of the sign and write down the number of MILES and the number of FEET that are on the sign. You know, of course, not to include this information in your log. You also know, that if you post a picture with your log, do not include the sign.
3. The coordinates to the cache are:
N. 47 AB.ABC W.120 DE.FEG
A = How many fives are in the number of feet.
B = Add first and last numbers in the number of feet.
C = Fourth number in the number of feet.
D = Number of whole miles minus ten.
E = Change the fraction to a decimal (.25) and then subtract first number from second of the conversion (5-2=E).
F = E + E + D (3+3+1=F)
G = E + E – D (3+3-1=G)
4. When you log your find on this webpage, try to help solve the mystery, where is Earl? It is optional and there are no right or wrong responses … just your imagination. Give us any information you may or may not have or any thoughts you may or may not have thought. To get you started, here are some questions you could or could not answer, such as:
