This cache is located in the beautiful downtown historical McIntosh. For a history lesson of the town see their website...www.townofmcintosh.org. You will be traveling to Van Ness Park. It's a well kept park with a playground for the children, tennis courts, a basketball court, a monument for veterans and now a geocache. In the center of the park is a building that is used for community functions, family reunions, wedding receptions, etc..
In October each year, the town celebrates it's heritage with "1890 days". It bring multitudes of visitors into the community. The cache is a bison tube. BE CAREFUL when removing and replacing cache container. Depending on previous cacher, you may need a TOTT. BYOP. Permission for the cache placement was given by the town clerk.
