The ash from the Eyjafjällajökull volcano has transformed the landscape around the volcano to a mono color moon like landscape! If it wasn't for the meltingwater rivers in the vally the landscape could be on the moon.
Normal colors in the area is green, white, blue and black. Now the colors are gray, gray and gray, with at shade of gray.
My footprint on the moon
OPTION: To log this cache you can upload a picture of you and your GPS on the moon! Or as an alternative in the middle of the ash from Eyjafjällajökull with the Eyjafjällajökull massive in the background.
MANDATORY: Answer these 2 questions:
1. When driving on the road 249/F249 from Seljanlandsfoss N63° 36.950 W19° 59.400 to the cache coords, You'll pass fosses, streams and small rivers - how many will you cross, and how deep are the deepest?
2. How high is the vegetation and what type of vegetation is it.
