Geocache Description:

Maidenhair tree that miraculously escaped burnt down by Great Kanto Earthquake

Burnt down escaped though Great Kanto Earthquake occurred, the Tokyo City inside was drunk by raging flames, and a part of the surface changed in quality to this tree at the flame and the high temperature on September 1, 1923. Therefore, attention was attracted as ""Symbol of the emperor capital revival"".
Afterwards, it was transplanted from Hitochu-bashi to a central meteorological observatory to the nearby present place soon by proposing central meteorological observatory length at that time though the readjustment of town lots by the emperor capital reconstruction effort came to be done, and "Earthquake maidenhair tree" became the object of deforestation, too.
The Meteorological Agency seems to assume this "Earthquake maidenhair tree" of the observation to be an object as a standard tree of the maidenhair tree in Tokyo now.
Please note that there are a lot of Muggles in daytime.
