The construction of the water tower was begun in 2001, and finished in spring of 2008. In the course of construction was used 3500m³ concrete. The total height of the building is 42m, and it can contain 3000m³ water. The total cost of the construction was 1.4 billion Ft.
The speciality of the tower is the asymmetric construction.
