Geocache Description:

While looking for "Wascally Wabbit", I found an old archived cache instead. After consulting with Nikon-ing I discovered the name was "swedesboro lacache". She asked me to go back and dispose of the old container since it was no longer of any use. Well I've decided to create a sorta cache museum. I put the old container inside a new one that I took out to the site. If you remember the old GZ, go out and get your easy smilie. If you've never found the old one, come find the new one.

Here's a piece of my log for more background on this cache: # 83 Not exactly my first attempt at the Wacally Wabbit. I was here last week and arrived at the park and discovered my Garmin that came preloaded didn't have this one in it. Major Newb strikes again. OK, there's a nice lil trail here, I'll take a walk around, look here, look there, I might get lucky. I've found caches before without the GPSr. I make my way about 3/4 of the way around the trail and I'm combing it pretty good, found a busted bicycle fork on the side of a hill, I know that hurt. Then i see the faint image of some camo tape, holly cow, I found it. Very strange container, ok maybe it's not it. I open it, there's logs, soaked, old logs, cool, I'm thinking I found it again. Even a teeny tiny cow in there, yeah, I'm feeling good now. Log was too wet to sign, so I grabbed a piece of paper, logged it, and replaced as found. Get home that night and go to log it, and I see on the map that what I found was no where near where Wascally Wabbit was supposed to be. I e-mail Nikon-ing to see, still hopping maybe I had made the find. But alas, no, Nikon-ing explained that what I found was an old archived cache called "swedesboro lacache". I didn't log it as a DNF because I did find A cache... Judges? No? Aww Ca'mon! OK, well anyway, I got it today, he was very Wascally, even with the GPSr I still had a hard time tracking him. It's in Lake Narraticon Park. Just out a little further on the trail from Wascally Wabbit. I used the same GZ as where I found the old cache. Numbers may be off because of heavy tree cover. FTF gets choice of a cool pair of shades, a Canadian Dollar, or the teeny tiny cow I found in the original cache container. If you want the cow, you'll hafta figure out how to open the container. FTL gets next choice. Congratulations to new FTF hound MuckSavage for living up to his name and getting a Gooie FTF.
