Geocache Description:

A cache in honor of a great football player. In the area of the football stadium bearing his name that opened on 2004.

A bit of a weedwalk, but no heavy bushwhacking involved.

If someone were to ask you what The Sugar Land Express was, you might say a movie from 1974 starring Goldie Hawn and the first movie directed by Steven Spielberg.
And that would be right.
But what was the FIRST Sugar Land Express?
Not a what, but a who...a quarterback for Sugar Land High School from 1950-1953 who set 17 high school football records, a few of which still stand to THIS day! His name is Ken Hall and I am proud to say he is a cousin of mine. Hall Lake in First Colony is named after him, as is that entire subdivision. If you see the name "Hall" in this area, that is who they are talking about. This cache is in his honor. If you are a sports nut, Google The Sugar Land Express and read about his career. I am just sad he was an Aggie :)

Congrats to jondilbert on FTF!!
