The majority of the Fairgrounds facility is still closed due to the ongoing pandemic, but I have been given permission to enable the 5 caches on the front part of the property, including the 3 hidden in the Nature Center.
The front gate is now open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday thru Friday. The Nature Center gate will remain closed, but you can park outside the gate at the Horse Arena and walk in for those caches.
Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns. Happy caching!!!!
Wooden nickels are just one of the many "useless" things that I enjoy collecting. I especially like the ones many geocachers use for their signature items. I have a bunch of duplicates in my collection, so I thought this would be a good way to share them.
It would be great if everyone that visits the cache could trade a wooden nickel with me, but I don't want to discourage anyone from finding the cache by making that a requirement. I'll add some other trade items to it so there should be something in there for most everyone.
The cache is located in the Nature Center at the Coweta County Fairgrounds. The Nature Center is open six days each week. The hours are: Tuesday - Saturday 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Sunday 1:30 - 5:00 p.m., and closed on Monday. Enjoy walking the trails as you hunt for the cache. Happy caching!!!!
Congratulations to Martin FFG on FTF #494!!!!
