The Ketchum Overlook! Good hike, great views, and fun for the whole family!
This cache is located about half way up the Bald Mountain trail. You have to hike to get here but the view is worth it. From the overlook you can see the Pioneer Mountains, Ketchum, and the city of Sun Valley. Also there is an information board here that tells the story of how the city of Ketchum got its name.
The trail to get here begins at the bottom of Bald Mountain on the River Run side. Its about a 1.7 mile hike on a well maintained trail. At the bottom of the trail is an information map that shows the entire Bald Mountain trail system.
Contents of the cache are a couple of stickers and a handi sharp knife sharpener. Happy caching and enjoy the hike!
