Geocache Description:

Welcome to Ueda. Here is Ueda Station Oshiro Exit.

Ueda Station is three railroad stations of Nagano Shinkansen(JR), Shinano Railway, and Ueda Kotsu.

There is a urban side exit that is called "Oshiro-guchi(Castle exit)".
And hot spring of Bessho side exit that is called "Onsen-guchi(Hot spring exit)".

There is a ticket gate of Nagano Shinkansen in ground 1F.
The ticket gate of Shinano Railway and Ueda Kotsu is on ground 2F.

Cache is set up at the Oshiro-guchi.
There are a bus terminal and a small park in Oshiro-guchi.
The bronze statue of hero Sanada Yukimura in local sets it up in the park.
There is a red clock that has the shape of the "Colors of Sanada family" just beside that.
And, the millrace from Edo period flows around the station, a big water mill using it is turning.
Cache is set up at the position in which these are looked at.

上田駅は、長野新幹線、しなの鉄道、上田交通の3つの鉄道の駅です。

「お城口」と呼ぶ市街地側出口、「温泉口」と呼ぶ別所温泉側出口があります。
地上１Fに新幹線改札、地上2Fにしなの鉄道と上田交通の駅があります。

キャッシュはお城口に設置されています。
お城口には、地元の英雄真田幸村の銅像、真田家の軍旗をかたどった赤い時計、そして江戸時代からの用水路を利用した大きな水車があります。
キャッシュはこれらが眺められる位置に設置されています。
