Memorial Art Museum of Migishi Setsuko Opened in 1998.
It was built to give high praise to her achievements and skill as a painter.
The collection covers all of her artistic periods from the early works to her last large scale work ,“Cherry Bloossom Cherry Bloossom“, and includes memorabilia in a mud-walled storehouse display room.
The architecture has many unique characteristics. The jagged roof of the main building is reminiscent of an old fashioned textile factory that once stood on the site, a studio reproduced in the old storehouse, and a water channel is reflective of Venice. All architectural structures and ideas are deeply associated with the memories of Setsuko Migishi.
The museum aims to promote an interest in Fine Art and educate the public and future generations.

三岸節子記念美術館は平成１０年に開館しました。
三岸節子の功績を讃え、生涯にわたる作品を収集、展示することにより、その画業を永く後世に伝えるとともに、市民の美術への関心を高め、芸術に対する造詣を深める目的で、画伯の生家跡に建設されました。
飼ってこの敷地内にあった織物工場を髣髴とさせる鋸屋根、現存する土蔵を活用してアトリエを復元した展示室、ベネチュアをイメージした水路など、三岸節子画伯の思い出と深くかかわった、ユニークで特徴のある美術館です。
