While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for the cache owner and block other cachers from placing a cache in the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can’t do so forever.

Nothing seems to happen with this cache listing, so it is now archived, so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location. Also, if it hasn’t been done already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.

If the owner wants it reopened, send me an e-mail and I’ll be happy to unarchive the cache listing if it still satisfies the requirement/guidelines.

Geocache Description:

Friluftsområde for voksne, ungdommer og barn.

Lathari Badestrand Lang sandstrand langs E6 fra Alta, i retning mot Nordkapp. Tilrettelagt med parkeringsplass, lekeapparater for barn, volleyballnett, toaletter og søppelkasser. Utsikt over Altafjorden og over mot Russeluft. Sandduner og furuskog. markert forskjell mellom flo og fjære. Området er godt egnet til friluftsliv som bading, lek, soling, og rekreasjon, passer for funksjonshemmede p.g.a flatt terreng. Liten cahce med muligheter for små bytteting som perler, pins o.l. Cahcen inneholder loggbok, cahcedokument, sertifikat, blyant og viskelær.. OBS. Mangler blyantspisser. Lathari Beach Long, sandy beach from Alta along the E6 towards North Cape. Equipped with parking lot, playground, volleyball nets, toilets, and refuse bins. View overlooking the Altafjord and towards Russeluft. Sand dunes and pine forest. Significant difference between high and low tide. The area is well suited for outdoor activities like swimming, playing, sunbathing and recreation. Thanks to it's flat terrain it is also suitable for disabled. Cahce is small botle and contents notebook, pencils, rubber and documents and enable to exchange small items.
