Kent Cachers Meet no 9

Well not bad hay only been doing geocaching since October 2009 and now i take up the challenge for this meet.

Well this is welcome to everybody families, old caches to new caches to friends in other county's around.
Those WHO wish can bring there dogs as there is a nice big green on other side of the pub. There is a beer garden if dogs come.

Well Loose is pronounced Looz if you local and of which its English name means (Pig-sty)

It has a lovey steam running along the footpath which you can follow to millpond then into the over part of the village. The history of Loose goes back far a Saxon times. The village is made up of church and tumble of old cottages. The steam goes from Boughton Monchelsea throw loose into Tovil which then joins river medway. The steam was used in the old days for its cotton mills.

Loose also has a viaduct built in 1829 and was designed by the great engineer Thomas Telford. Then in 1934 the footpath was added.

There are couple caches around one is a nice walk around Loose which is called lose yourself in loose.

Well the Pup is a lovey village pup which opens at 11 but close at 15hrs. But there is a lovey green across from the pub to use as well. Food is served from Midday- 14hrs.
