Located in a small but beautiful and historic state park.
From the parking lot take the short easy walk to visit Aunt Helen.
Stand at the fence and watch as a few waterfalls cascade down
hundreds of feet to the raging waters below. Best time to see the
waterfalls is in the fall, winter, and spring. As you stand there
listen for Helen's laughter in the wind, and her songs rising from
the surf below. Walk a couple hundred feet further down the paved
trail and you will see "The Light" Well worth the effort ! If you
are feeling adventurous take the 800 foot long trail from the other
end of the parking lot to see the world famous "Octopus Tree" !!!!
Aunt Helen took flight from this location many years ago as a
butterfly. She continue's to live in the wind, water, and rocks.
This cache was set up before there were so many rules concerning
how to claim a virtual cache. Some cachers have been confused as
how to claim this find. I origionaly set it up just so folks would
enjoy the place with no questions to answer, but alas that has
changed. To get credit for the cache: 1. email me with the number
of handi-capped parking spaces in the parking lot. 2. Post a photo
of you and your GPSr at the Octopus Tree (tree must be in picture.
