The Hermitage is a picturesque woodland area near Dunkeld with a variety of signposted National Trust walks. This cache is to be found along a long-ish (30 minutes from entrance) walk signposted "Braan/ Rumbling Bridge". The spot is a nice one for a rewarding picnic.
The many walks around the Hermitage are simple woodland paths suitable for most people without serious footwear. Children probably need to be under supervision due to steep rocky slopes toward fast moving water. The walk to this cache involves a long (but not especially steep) incline. But if you aren't in a rush, you won't be too taxed.
The cache is a regular lunch box with a love(!) theme. We placed it the day after our wedding, near the anniversary of a first date picnic here. Enjoy!
