One of the most visited of Orkney’s tourist attractions and well worth it. It can often be very busy with coaches and other traffic. The cache has been deliberately placed a short distance away but stealth may still be required!
As well as the world renowned standing stones, this is a great location with super views out over the West Mainland and, in particular, Loch of Harray and Loch of Stenness, excellent places for birdwatching and fishing!
The cache is a 35mm film cannister with log and film.
There is room for two cars very close to the cache in a parking space but if this is full then parking is available at the Stenness Stones carpark a short distance away.
