Hillside Trail, Raystown Lake - Bird Area -- This geo-cache is an environmental education geo-cache intended for families with young children, but if you have a young spirit, I think you will enjoy the view (and use the binoculars within to see what you can spot in the birding area). It is easy to get to so enjoy, but don't forget to put it all back for the next seeker.
This geo-cache is one of five that have been officially placed (with the Army Corps of Engineers permission, Raystown Lake Branch) at Raystown Lake, Huntingdon, PA by Dr. Kathy Jones, Associate Professor of Education at Juniata College. It includes a logbook to sign in, two children's books about Birds, an information sheet and on the spot activity with the necessary supplies and a "take home activity" to continue the learning at home...
