Serra de São Barão
           
         Situada entre a Serra de Alcaria Ruiva a Norte, Serra de Alvados a Sudoeste e a Serra do Cansado a Oeste, a Serra de São Barão encontra-se a cerca de 10 kms a norte de Mértola.

         A Serra de S. Barão é uma elevação quartzítica situada em plena Faixa Piritosa Ibérica.

         O acesso à cache faz-se em estrada de terra batida na qual qualquer viatura pode circular sem qualquer problema. Seguido de Beja em Direcção a Mértola pela N 122, vire à direita para a povoação da Corte da Velha orientando-se pela sinalética existente que indica a Ermida de S. Barão.

              Located between the Serra de Alcaria Ruiva on North, Serra de Alvados at Southwest and Serra do Cansado at West, Serra de São Barão is 10 kms at north of Mértola.

         Serra de São Barão is a quartzitic elevation quartzitic located right in a the Iberian Pyrite Belt.

         The cache access is possible on a dirt road on which any car can run without any problem. Going from Beja to Mértola on the N 122, turn right toward the Corte da Velha village always following São Barão directions signs.
