The classic shot is 100mm on a bright Fall day. The attached photograph is an enlarged 50mm on a cloudy Fall day. To the left in the photo are headwaters for the Potomac River; to the right- the James River. Other areas of the County also have headwaters for those same rivers.
This area is a treasure for folks who like the rugged outdoors. There are many good attractions nearby, including a traditional geocache.
