Geocache Description:

This is a small lock and lock box that has been camoed. It contains the original log, swag and an extra log book. This started out smaller, but we decided to give it some size to accomadate "Travelers" that are passing by on the interstate.

Recently I received an email from a cacher from California.
A portion of the message follows.

"I live in San Bernardino California and I am in the process of creating a Travel Bug in memory of my mother "Lois Kensinger" . She passed away this year and always wanted to travel back home and also the world. She was born in Divernon in 1931. My travel bugs mission is to travel home to Divernon and then the Springfield area and then around the world."

MapRat and I placed this cache to honor his mother and to give his travel bug a place to come home to. We scouted the area and placed several caches in "her" home town. We hope to have her travel bug here in Springfield so we can take it "home" and then let her travel the world from here.
I hope you enjoy the caches we placed in the area.
