Geocache Description:

This cache is nothing to Sneeze at, so don't be Bashful and go for it. If you earn a smiley you'll be Happy, but a DNF might leave you Grumpy. Watch out for poison ivy and ticks to avoid a trip to the Doc, it's a short hike so it shouldn't leave you Sleepy. If you can't find it, maybe Dopey can help!

I recently had the opportunity to meet a fellow cacher, Dopeythecacher, while on a FTF hunt in Manville. Dopeythecacher scored the FTF (his first ever) and showed that he not only has the skill to place caches, but to find them as well. I've managed to get 5 FTFs on some of his caches, and thought that I'd hide a cache in his stomping grounds, or biking grounds, so to speak, in the hopes that he might land another FTF, or at least have some fun finding another local cache. So, to Dopeythecacher, and all the other local cachers out there, good luck and have fun!

Before I discovered geocaching and all the wonderful and neat new places it brought me, this is one of the places I used to bring my dogs walking, starting in Cumberland by the Albion Dam, and continuing here, then back. The first .3 miles is paved, then there is a dirt path leading to the cache and continuing on to the Cumberland side of the Albion Dam. I did not travel the whole path today, but last time I did, the four-wheelers and jeeps did a number on the trail tearing it up in many places and leaving huge ruts filled with mud and water.

Parking for 1 or 2 cars at listed parking coordinates. Park to the left of the gate. Please do not park in front of the orange gate and block the road, Cumberland Public Works does use this road for access. I have been here on occasion when they have driven by in their trucks, so be careful.

Warning: if the gate is open do not attempt to drive to the cache. The Cumberland Water Dept. uses this road daily and it is for their authorized use only. You may get locked in when they close the gate as they leave.

There are alternate approaches to the cache. You could continue on the trails from "Roaring Falls Cache" near the bridge in Albion, or you could come in from the trail near Kennedy Court.

Congratulations to Mr. X on FTF!
