Located just off the highway there is a little road side stop called Yuppeckiar Park. It is a good place to pull up for a break and stretch the legs. I believe there was a township here a long time ago called Strathmore which I am looking up the history to later to place in the cache notes but for now you are looking for a small black cache with the usual swaps. The history records that in 1860 the first settlers came and took up holdings along the nine mile creek Strathmore grew and had two hotels and a blacksmiths shop, flour mill, brickworks, church and a school. At its peak in the early 1870s the school had 70 pupils attending and finally closed in 1917. An easy cache and there is a scratchie for the first to find Enjoy the Cache
