I must say this was inspired by CRider so mahalo's for all the awesome places you have placed a cache.
Now, there are several ways to the right trail, choose wisely or else it will be a long journey. I started from Kalawahine and continued to the Pauoa Flats trail. From there you will encounter a contour trail that will take you around and above Lulumuhu Falls. From there it is all up to the summit (K1) and more if you wish to go to the K2. As you near the inclines so will you near the gps coordinates. The cache is on a nice grassy spot looped on a small tree on the makai side of the trail. The area it's in is safe so don't go looking somewhere goofy.... you could fall if you do. It is a nice spot to collect your thoughts before continuing on to some really narrow ridges. NARROW If its raining I do not advise going past the cache because it gets really technical in foul weather. Although, if weather conditions are good at that point please check out the summits. Its a wonderland.
side note... Along the trail towards the top there are rare and endangered plants and snails. Please Do Not Disturb them. The plants are being studied as part of a future reforestation project (ex. Naupaka & Ohelo Berry). Take notice of them because you may never see them again, but PLEASE DO NOT DISTURB THEM!
