Geocache Description:

CACHE IS NOT AT ABOVE COORDINATES. SOLVE THE PUZZLE BELOW TO FIND THE CACHE.

NOTE: I am getting feedback that people can't figure this one out, so instead of changing the rating, I am going to make the questions a bit easier. I WANT people to find it. :) Please write me if you need hints. Second update: I added the hints and am still upping the rating a bit due to cacher feedback.

UPDATE 2/13/12: The trail to the original cache was permanently closed, so it has been moved and some extra math added to the questions. Final hide is almost identical to the old one. If you want a specific clue since reception can be so annoying in the forest, email me before heading out. :)

Another cache simply named by my 5 year old. The study of world religions has always been a passion of mine, and I especially love all the Goddess traditions. The code is so obvious, you should not need any hints for it. Some of the descriptions could fit more than one Goddess, and some might have varying spellings, so write to me if you need help. I didn't want to make it *too* easy. I think it will still be fairly easy with Google at your fingertips. I did pick a few I thought might be tricky to search, so it should be interesting!

On to the clues....!

Mother Goddess worshiped at Eleusis - first letter
Sumerian Queen of the Underworld - first letter
Japanese name for Saraswati - first letter
A Norse Goddess of marriage, childbirth, motherhood and spinning and weaving - last letter
Goddess who owns the necklace Brisingamen - first letter
Greek Goddess who received the first offering at each sacrifice a household performed - first letter MINUS 2
Celtic Goddess who was able to change into an owl, and thus can see into the depths of your soul - last letter MINUS 4
Chinese Goddess of mercy and compassion - third letter
Cat Goddess, also associated with the home and pregnancy - first letter
Celtic Goddess of healing, fertility, smithcraft and poetry - first letter
Babylonian earth mother Goddess; mother to Marduk - first letter
Brazilian Mother Goddess and Orisha associated with the ocean, moon and fertility, sometimes depicted as a mermaid - first letter
Ancient Earth Mother who is often depicted on a throne flanked by lions - first letter MINUS 1
Greek Goddess who had small statues named after her, which were hung in doorways - first letter MINUS 2
Goddess who cheered up Demeter when she was in mourning by exposing herself - first letter PLUS 3 (This one might not be considered a Goddess by all, as she was just a figure in a story, but many consider her to be, and there were even pendants made in her honor in ancient Greece, so I decided to include her)

Checksum is 61

The cache is a camo'd plastic bottle. This is one of my favorite patches of forest in the area. There are well maintained trails almost to GZ. Please try not to trample the plants as much as you are able.

There is an ancient fertility goddess pendant for the FTF if you are into that sort of thing. :)

CONGRATS to jomouse for her first night FTF!
