Where did they get the data?

We found this location during our pre event exploration of Jamestown. The sign says 400m. The question is; What does your GPSr say?

Ayr Street is a wide boulevarde in the old country style. You need a cut lunch and a water bag to cross the road. They do not make them like that anymore.
