This summer I spent almost an hour driving around North
Transcona looking for this park while my daughter was actively
playing a soccer game there. I think I caught the last 3 minutes.
Needless to say neither of us was impressed. So, at the time I
decided that I should try and hide one here so that we would all
know where it is. I've had the cache in the car for 2 months
waiting to drive by and remember to actually place it. I almost
drove past again tonight. It's a really nice park actually, if not
exactly like so many other newer suburban parks.
You are looking for a fairly large camo pill bottle in an
obvious location. Currenty it has no writing stick (somehow) so
please bring your own. There is room for small pins and other small
trade items. Please place the cache back as you found it. I will
need to revisit and secure it better in its place before
winter.
Logging
Etiquette: Geocache hiders sometimes go through a great deal of
planning to place their caches. As a result, they'd like to hear
your feedback on whether you liked or disliked any aspect of the
hide, or if you feel that some cache maintenance is required.
Single word, acronym, or emoticon logs may be easier when you have
a lot of caches to log, but it doesn't tell the hider or other
finders anything about your adventure (or lack thereof) in finding
the cache. Please keep this in mind when entering your log.
