Geocache Description:

Recently the cache container was damaged due to the construction of the bike path here. I have changed and MOVED the cache. Because of its' hiding place I have given it a difficulty rating of 2.

Sometimes in the winter the front and back gates are closed. You may park in the new entrance off Quincy. So far there are no gates there.

I noticed there were only two caches in this park and thought it would be fun to add a few. Please bring a pen or pencil as the cache only has a log. Muggles may be present at certain times of the day, mostly in the evening and during the baseball season, so use stealth, less the cache should disappear!

This cache is placed in honor of Jim Kaat, a Zeeland, Mi. native who played professional baseball for the Twins. While you are there be sure to read the plaque in his honor. He was the AL pitcher of the year in 1966 and more info is the park.
