Geocache Description:

Note the cache is NOT at the above coordinates.
In order to find this cache you will need to visit various murals in downtown Pleasanton and collect necessary information to locate final cache. This is a five part multi-cache with a container only at the final.

The final cache is located at: N37 ab.cd5 , W121 5e.6fg

Begin your journey at the Meadowlark Dairy. (N37 39.614, W121 52.483) A great place to get a soft cone on a hot summer day to refresh you as you search for the information needed to locate the final cache. This mural is a representation of the historical dairy and replicates the view from the Pleasanton Ridge where the original dairy was located.

The second mural on the tour is the "Pleasanton 100 Years Ago, Fiesta '75 Mural", It is located in a parking lot at 818 Main in Pleasanton. (N37 39.857 W121 52.415) It shows scenes of the city, including the horse race track, rail road station, business buildings, and firehouse.

The third mural on the tour is "Celebrate this Beautiful Valley" Mural located on the side wall of Strizzi's restaurant. (N37 39.754, W121 52.513) This mural depicts a view of the valley looking south toward Livermore. It includes the original Fair Buildings, including the oldest Race Track in the Country, the original Castlewood, the Bernal Bridge, Meadowlark Dairy and Hopyards.

The wall on the side of Valley Plumbing's Home Center, at Peters and Rose Avenues, is the new home for Pleasanton's latest mural. (N37 39.643, W121 52.630) The sepia-toned artwork recalls Pleasanton in the 1920s, with Ford Model Ts and a giant Southern Pacific steam train. With old photos gathered from the Museum On Main, they created a pastiche that was translated into the mural. Adding a touch of modernity, the mural includes a man, painted in color, capturing the scene with a digital camera.

To reach the final stop on the mural tour collect the following information:

a= the month that the Meadowlark Dairy Mural was painted.

b= the number repeated on the train in the 1920's Mural

c= the second to last number etched in the sidewalk grate nearest the west side of the "Beautiful Valley" Mural. (nearest to the Barber Shop)

d= the first number in the year of both the dedication and rededication of "Fiesta '75"

e= the first digit in the date on the 1920s Mural.

f= the single digit representation of the month "Beautiful Valley" was donated to the citizens of Pleasanton.

g= to find this numeral, you will have to walk around the corner at the 1920s Mural to locate the mailboxes on the side of the Valley Plumbing Building. g= the number on the 3rd box from the right.

If you added correctly, your sum of all digits will equal 34.

When you arrive at the final you will find a very "Pleasant" place to sit and relax after your journey. There are benches to rest and reflect on the history of this town and yet another "mural" to enjoy.
