The Cache to Eagle series highlights service projects conducted by Eagle Scout candidates in the Northern Star Council as a part of the Boy Scouts of America's Centennial Celebration.

At this particular location, an Eagle Scout service project was conducted in 2003 by an Eagle Scout from Troop 142, serving the Wyoming community, which consisted of constructing a six sided Gazebo on the Sunrise Trail. This project was completed with the help of 15 volunteers who spent a total of 260 hours on this project. The total cost of this project was $1847.
Nearby on the Sunrise Trail you will see the first of 4 benches provided by an Eagle Scout from Troop 142 of Wyoming in 2005.
In front of the Library located across highway 61 is an Eagle Project also completed by another Eagle Scout in 2006 from Troop 142. This project consisted of the installation of the flagpole and landscaping nearby. The total cost of the project was $3711 and consisted of 24 people volunteering 209 hours.
Step a little to the west and you will see a rain garden Eagle Project constructed by an Eagle Scout from Troop 142 in 2009.
Finally, step inside the library and you will see an Eagle Project completed by an Eagle Scout from Troop 142 in 2007. This project is a dividing wall shaped like a train to separate the entry area from the children's area. The 'wall' also holds computers on the children's side. This project involved 5 volunteers who spent 250 hours working on this project with a cost of $250.
