An easy park-and-grab cache hidden at a spot with a nice view along State Route 39 just east of Summersville, West Virginia.
If you decide to go for this cache, be sure to bring your camera. There is a great view of Gauley River/Summersville Lake from ground zero, particularly in the summer months. After you find this one, if you want to double your fun, drive on across the bridge and look for my "A Real Road to Nowhere #2" cache (GC26166) which is on the other side.
The cache is a plastic pill bottle that only has room for a log sheet and some very small trade items so please remember to bring your own pen!
**Note: the No Parking sign is to keep people from parking along the edge of the highway and on the bridge. It is o.k. to park in the gravel pull-off area while you are searching for the cache.
