An easy cache just off a footpath from Kirkwall up to the summit of Wideford Hill by way of the Muddisdale footpath.
This cache is just off a footpath leading from near the Pickaquoy Sports Centre in Kirkwall to the summit of Wideford Hill, an excellent viewpoint for a good part of the Orkney Mainland, the South Isles, Scapa Flow and out towards the North Isles.
The cache is near a delightful nature reserve, which you walk through if you are intending to take the path to the Wideford Hill summit from Kirkwall.
The cache is a 35 mm film canister with log and pencil.
