Muddisdale Traditional Cache

An easy cache near to the beginning of a pleasant walk from Kirkwall to the summit of Wideford Hill, an excellent viewpoint for seeing most of the Orkney Mainland, the South Isles, Scapa Flow and out towards the North Isles.
The cache is close to the entrance to the Muddisdale Nature Reserve,which you walk through if you are intending to walk to the summit of Wideford Hill. The small nature reserve is a delightful place particularly in summer when the trees are in leaf.
The cache is a 35mm film canister with log and pencil.
