Echo Mountain - Sam Merrill Trail 1400 ft Gain - 5 Miles round trip - One of the best and most popular hikes in Los Angeles Area. My Favorite!

Drive to the end (top of the hill) of Lake Ave in Altedena. A large iron gate marks the entrance to the park. Pass the gate and the trailhead is located at N34° 12.239 / W118° 07.715

Dogs are welcome!
