Geocache Description:


Robert Louis Stevenson reportedly lived here for 3 and a half months, and got ideas for Treasure Island from this area (Point Lobos in particular), or so they say. Just a little history. This is a nano, and I placed it here so you could see some of the interesting spots Monterey has to offer. This is a state park and has limited hours. Currently it is open from 10-4.
