Most of my caches are named for birds seen on the trails so The Lost Clan and I were discussing what I should call this cache when a noisy jay came over to see what we were doing in his area. We had also seen a kite, phoebe, goldfinches and quail while hiking the quiet canyon trail. The cache is on the south side of the trail.
