Cache is located alongside the scenic montgomeryshire canal and is the 2nd i've put along the canal. This one is near to Pwll Penarth nature reserve which makes a nice little detour from walking along the canal
Directions to the reserve: Pwll Penarth is found at grid reference SO137926 next to Newtown Sewage Works. Take the B4568 from Newtown to Llanllwchaiarn, turn down by the church on the right and follow the lane to the sewage work gates. Park in the small car park down the track to the right of the gates. Follow the Severn Way footpath east to the reserve entrance.
Have a look at a map before going to find this as depending where you park the walk can be anything from a couple of hundred yards - nearest parking would be near to the sewage works - to several miles and whilst your walking along the canal tow path which is flat the surface conditions can vary from perfect gravel path to lightly overgrown single track.
you can get a stroller / wheel chair and children to this location just be aware you are alongside a water course.
there are several other easy to get to caches or combining this with my other canal cache would probably make a walk of about 1 -1.5hrs.
Accuracy when i placed it was 24ft.
