Geocache Description:

This two-stage multi-cache was hidden on Father's Day 2010 during a Summertime Activity geocaching outing by Cub Scout Pack 282. The listed Stage 1 coordinates bring people (back) to the site of now-archived cache Fontana's Watch (GCJRAY) to honor one of the many people who sacrificed their life to help keep us safe. The memorial plaque contains the key to the coordinates of the Final cache located in nearby Guadalupe Oak Grove Park, which is open from 8:00am to sunset.

To calculate the Final cache coordinates, let AB/CD/EFGH be the date (in MM/DD/YYYY format) referenced in the first sentence (after the dedication) of the plaque. Then substitute the appropriate values below: N 37° 14.H83 W 121° 5C.D89

This third incarnation of the final cache is a 7 x 5 x 2.5 inch Snap'n Lock container containing an assortment of small toys and trinkets. The original cache with contents contributed by scouts and family members was muggled at a different nearby location in early February 2011 - you can review the details in the log history. The cache is not camouflaged to make it easy to identify, but please cover it up better than you found it.

Good hunting, and congratulations to oaknest on the original FTF!
