Geocache Description:

Easy access just off from a paved county road with a fairly wide shoulder. Please do your best to put the cache and hiding place back how you found them.

CONGATULATIONS to BWNEYEGRL for being the FTF! Thanks for leaving the special FTF prize for someone with kids! The location of the cache was selected because it reminds us of “The Stone Table” in C. S. Lewis's famous novel, "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe." In this story, four British children find themselves in a magical land called Narnia where they meet an evil witch who claims to be the queen of Narnia, talking animals, and a wonderful lion named, Aslan, who is the true King of Narnia. One of the highlights of the story is Aslan's death and resurrection, which parallels the crucifixion and resurrection of Christ. In order to save one of the children (Edmond) from death at the hands of the evil White Witch, Aslan allows himself to be killed upon a great Stone Table. The "crucifiers" mock him, just as Jesus was mocked during the events that led up to His crucifixion. Then, early the next morning, the resurrected Aslan reappears to Lucy and Susan, similar to how Christ reappeared to the disciples after The Resurrection. A great battle ensues and, of course, good overcomes evil. There is a trophy and a special Narnia-related prize that we made for the FTF (a great prize for kids). Initial contents also include a TB (not ours) and several other items that could possibly be found in Narnia.
