Geocache Description:

Here's a very basic cache for your hunting pleasure. Head down the long abandoned stretch of road (once OH13, before they moved the highway and bridge), and take a little trip to a gentler time.

When Koilady and I first moved to the area, this was one of our favorite summertime haunts. There was a nice little beach, and the water was just deep enough for a little proper freshwater swimming. Just to the east, under the railroad bridge, there was a fairly deep pool where the local kids would jump from the bridge into the water. We thought then that the scene, especially when the train would go by and the engineer wave and sound the horn, was some of the purest small town Americana we had ever seen. There is no need to go anywhere near the tracks or the bridge to find the cache.
