This cache is part of a series, set around the beautiful area of Bleasdale. The entire series can be done in around 5.5 hours, or it can be split into two circular routes, taking half the time. The walk follows private estate roads which are also public footpaths. This cache is a small, screw top, plastic container (squeeze tabs to open) and on setting the cache, contained 0.5p, a yoyo and a pencil.
Bleasdale is part of the Forest of Bowland, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, surrounded by Parlick, Fair Snape Fell and Hazelhurst Fell on the north-north east side. There are breathtaking views along the paths around here and great spots for bird watching, especially lapwings. Through these woods, you will notice lots of lovely rhododendron plants and trees with interesting roots!
