Geocache Description:

This well kept Park has been neglected from having a cache put in it so we felt the need to change that. This park is home to Chili soccer and other sport activities so it will potentially have muggles wandering about.

This is a simple four part multi cache, you can walk to each wp without a problem. The first three parts consist of some basic math skills which you should not have any problems what so ever. The given coordinates will lead you to a plaque and by following the instructions below you will make your way to 2 other plaques. Once you get to the third plaque you will be calculating the coordinates for the final cache.

Good luck and have fun, this is a very nice park and very kid friendly. This cache is not meant to be devious or "mean" in any way, just a nice stroll in a nice park.

All wp's will be in the following format:

N 43 06.ABC W 077 45.DEF

Plaque #1

  • Take the 11th number and multiply it by the 16th number
  • subtract 16 from that total
  • subtract the 2nd number on plaque from this total
  • now subtract out the 15th number on the plaque
  • and finally subtract the 3rd number from this total, this will be (A)
  • Take the name in parenthesis and convert the letters into numbers
  • Add all the numbers you have now together
  • Finally subtract 28 and this will equal (B)
  • The last Digit on the plaque equals (C)
  • Take the first year and subtract it from the second year then add 3, that will equal (D)
  • Take the second to last letter in the last word, turn this into a number and that will equal (E)
  • What is the twelfth number on the plaque? That will equal (F)

Plaque #2

  • What is the first number given on the plaque? This will equal (A)
  • Take the Fourth number and multiply it by the first number
  • Divide that total by the fourth number
  • Now take your remaining total and subtract 3, this will equal (B)
  • Take the number of times the word "Chili", "Town", and "Of" are written on this plaque, the sum will be (C)
  • Add all of the numbers on the plaque together then subtract 17, this will give you (D)
  • Take the numeric value of the month mentioned on the plaque and divide it by 3, this number will equal (E)
  • Take the amout of "O's" on this plaque, add it to the amout of "V's", subtract out the amout of "T's", then take that total and subtract out the amount of "M's" then add 1. This will be (F)

Plaque #3

  • Take the second number on the plaque to get (A)
  • How many times does the word "Marine" appear ? That will be (B)
  • Take the numerical value of the month mentioned and divide it by 10, this number will equal (C)
  • Find the post number and add up the digits, this will equal (D)
  • Find the first name from line 1 on this plaque, and count the letters. Now find his last name and count those letters. Take away his first name from his last name. Take that result and add 3 to get (E)
  • Take the only word on here the starts with an "M" and ends with"Y" and count the letters. Now find the word that starts with an "H" and ends with an "R" and count the letters. Now take the smaller number away from the bigger one to get (F)
