Geocache Description:

This cache has been placed in a country park on the site of the former Clockface colliery spoil heap. The remains of the pit head buildings can be seen from various points around the walk and there is also a large pond that attracts many anglers. There are number of paths that can be chosen from the car park and the cache can be approached from 2 different directions. It will eventually be 1 of a series of caches with a views theme which will be placed around a circular walk.

The cache is a small clip and lock container with a few small swaps to begin with
