You know the ones. After years of listening in vain, the SETI folks finally detect a
signal from the stars.
Researchers the world over struggle -- and fail -- to decode the
signal. All except our intrepid hero and heroine, who succeed where
others cannot.
There follows a complicated plot in which our protagonists (a)
help stranded aliens return home, (b) trade with friendly aliens
for advanced technology, (c) collaborate with friendly aliens to
save earth from some impending natural catastrophe, (d) become
lunch for hungry hostile aliens or (e) all of the above.
This is your chance to play hero/heroine by decoding such a
signal. You need not worry about plot consequences (or becoming
lunch). Extra-terrestrial cachers vacationing in our solar system
were stumped. The signal is nothing more than the response to a PAF
request for the solution to a vexing puzzle cache in Greensfelder
County Park.

You are looking for a large Lock&Lock in an obvious spot. It
is stocked with flying saucers (naturally), a variety of
sci-fi-themed swag, a couple of smiley marble mazes and some camo
bouncy balls (because who can resist camo bouncy balls?).
The cache is about .25 mile from the listed coordinates as the
saucer flies -- a bit more as the connector trail meanders. The
cache is about 125 feet off the Declue trail.
Greensfelder County Park is open from 7:00am until one half hour
after sunset. Please obey posted park hours and
regulations.
Congratulations to 87Preludea20a3 and Spraypaint on the FTF --
and a really creative way to solve the puzzle.
